Where the student learns martial techniques and Kung-fu (introductory essentials of iron training).

  1. Martial self-defense training
    Rigorous Kung-fu external exercises for stamina and core strengthening needed for effective execution of techniques and overall health and wellness.

  2. In depth lessons of the techniques of Go-Ju Ryu, Aiki-Jitsu
    and Ju-Jitsu combat

    These are taught in a systemized and progressive format of phases from beginner to advanced, including blocking, punching, kicking, striking, grappling, and throwing.

  3. In depth lessons of Sung Lung Miu kata
    These are to be learned on three levels. First tai-chi style, secondly chi-sao style, and thirdly hai yai style. These three ways plus bun kai (practical application) studies of the techniques ensure a solid understanding of the kata.

  4. Za-zen
    Meditative Internal ‘exercises’ or qi-gong (chi-gong) with an introduction to eastern philosophy and contemplation.
    In this phase, we become aware of our internal energy, where it resides and how it moves within our bodies.
